NO! Shoes and shin guards are not allowed in this tournament. You will be playing in the deep sand for maximum workout. This tournament is designed to prepare you for the upcoming season.
Yes, there are cash prizes for the 1st and 2nd Place team in each bracket.
Several players wear Aqua Socks which can be purchased at any surf, diving, or sporting good stores at a very minimal cost. Other types of acceptable foot wear are -

This is a 7 v 7 tournament. Game length for both the Adult's and Youth's is 20 minutes per half. After you play your first year ... you'll understand. Twenty minutes in the deep sand of hard play will give you an unbelievable workout.
